There is a certain drama in the sport, like horse racing, where the driver and bike are in constant tension for control. In this painting I wanted to capture the visual peak of on airborne driver as he hurls into the air from a course jump. I used bright passionate colors to provide a distinct feel of movement and perspective. Two drivers in the background were painted to provide height relativity to the featured airborne driver.
